I am having trouble installing multiple operating systems on my PC. I want to install Windows Me, but I wish to install it as another OS on a second hard drive. This means I can still access Windows 98 SE until I'm happy that all is working well. I already have two hard drives installed and both are working fine. However, each time I try to install Windows Me on to the second drive, it upgrades my C drive and places the Me files into the other partition.
How do I get the complete install to run on the slave drive so that I can choose, using BootMagic, which OS to run at startup?

Windows 95 and 98, and doubtless Me too, don't support booting from a second disk. Consequently, there is no support in the setup program for installing the complete OS, including boot files, on anything other than the first disk.
A ray of hope is offered by the BootMagic documentation. It states that you must remove your current Master disk, so that the second drive becomes the Master. Install Windows Me on to it and then, when you put the original Master back, BootMagic will detect the Me boot files on what is once again the second disk and allow you to boot it. However, you'll have to use Advanced Partition Hiding in the BootMagic configuration program to hide the primary partition of the first drive when running Windows Me.
